The newly elected BJP government in Delhi has announced the renaming of AAP’s Mohalla Clinics as Ayushman Arogya Mandirs, aiming to expand and enhance healthcare accessibility for all.

Mohalla Clinics, officially known as Aam Aadmi Mohalla Clinics (AAMC), are primary healthcare centers offering free medical services in Delhi and Punjab. These clinics play a crucial role in providing essential healthcare to underserved communities.
The BJP government aims to revamp and expand these clinics under the Ayushman Arogya Mandir initiative. The primary goal is to set up healthcare centers near JJ (Jhuggi-Jhopri) clusters, ensuring accessible and free primary healthcare for residents.
The rebranding of Mohalla Clinics as Ayushman Arogya Mandirs marks a new phase in Delhi’s healthcare landscape. With a focus on enhanced accessibility, improved services, and broader reach, this initiative aims to strengthen primary healthcare for Delhi’s underprivileged communities.
