UPPCS has officially announced that PSC preliminary will be conducted on October 11. The candidates qualifying the preliminary exam have to give the mains exam as well. The mains exam is expected to be conducted on January 22, 2002. Only the shortlisted candidates in UPPSC main’s will be called for the interview round which will be the final stage of the selection process.

UPPSC exam results are by considering many factors including:

UPPSC Selection Process

UPPSC PCS Exam Selection Procedure 2020

Three stages for the selection of candidates include:

  • Preliminary Exam: The candidates have to give two papers in the preliminary exam and the qualifying candidates who cleared the preliminary exam need to give the main exam as well. Minimum scoring marks required is 40% in the paper-1 while 33% marks is needed in the paper-2 to get considered for the merit list.
  • Main Exam: The candidates who have cleared the preliminary exam have to give the main exam as well. The main exam includes 6 compulsory papers while two papers are optional.
  • Personal Interview: The candidates who have cleared both pre and main exam and fill the application form for the personal interview will be called for the interview. During the interview, all the documents are verified and at this level, the candidates are asked to select their preference for the posts.
