SSC JHT 2026 Application Form; Check Exam Dates & Schedule

SSC JHT 2026 notification was released on April 23, 2026, following which the online application process was conducted from April 23 to May 14, 2026. The application process and correction window have now been concluded, and candidates who successfully submitted their forms will appear for Paper-I on Sep 8, 2026. After Paper-I, qualified candidates will proceed to the subsequent stages of SSC JHT 2026 selection process as prescribed by the Commission.

SSC JHT 2026 One-Time Registration (OTR)

SSC JHT 2026 candidates who had not previously registered on SSC JHT portal had to complete OTR before filling the exam application.

1. Visit the official SSC website and click Login or Register.
2. Select the One-Time Registration option.
3. Enter the required basic details and complete the registration.
4. Complete Aadhaar-based authentication, wherever applicable, or provide the alternative documents prescribed by SSC.
5. Note the registration number and password generated after successful OTR.

Candidates who have already submitted their applications should now check their application status and keep their registration details available for downloading the admit card.

SSC JHT 2026 Application Fee

SSC JHT 2026 candidates belonging to the non-exempted category were required to pay an application fee of ₹100. Women candidates and candidates belonging to the specified exempted categories were not required to pay the fee.

Candidates who were required to pay the fee had to complete the payment within the prescribed deadline. Merely filling the application form without successful fee payment, wherever applicable, did not complete the application process.

SSC JHT Application Form Correction Window

For SSC JHT 2026 after the application deadline of May 14, 2026, the Staff Selection Commission opened a correction window from May 19 to May 20, 2026 (11:00 PM) for candidates to fix any mistakes in their submitted applications.

• Candidates could modify and resubmit their application up to two times.
• Correction Fee:
  • ₹200/- for the first correction
  • ₹500/- for the second correction
• Corrections could only be made if the initial application and fee were successfully submitted.
• After May 20 (11:00 PM), no further changes were allowed under any circumstances.

The most recent corrected application will be treated as final. If the correction charges are not paid, the corrected application is not accepted and the previously submitted application remains valid.

SSC JHT 2026 Aadhaar-Based Authentication Benefits

SSC JHT candidates are advised to use Aadhaar authentication for registration. This eliminates the need to upload a separate photo ID or extra documents later. Applications verified through Aadhaar won't be rejected for minor photo or signature discrepancies. Candidates using this method won't need to carry a photo ID during the exam, as a live photo will be captured during registration.

Documents and Details Required for SSC JHT Application

SSC JHT 2026 candidates had to keep their personal, educational, and identification details ready before starting the application. The information entered in the application had to correspond with the candidate's official records. The major details required during the application included:

4. Educational Documents

• Graduation and master's degree certificates/mark sheets showing eligibility in Hindi and English.

5. Category Certificate

• SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD/Ex-servicemen candidates must upload valid certificates in the prescribed format
