Difference Between RRB Station Master and RRB NTPC Exam
RRB Station Master and RRB NTPC Graduate Level Exam are totally different. Although Station Master was previously included under NTPC Graduate recruitment, the Railway Board has introduced a separate notification for the post from 2026 onwards.

What Happens If a Candidate Fails RRB Station Master Exam?
Candidates who fail to qualify for any stage of RRB Station Master selection process can apply again in future recruitment cycles, provided they meet the eligibility requirements.
- Failure in CBT: Candidates who do not secure the required qualifying marks or meet the shortlisting criteria cannot proceed to CBAT. They can reappear in the next recruitment cycle.
- Failure in CBAT: Candidates who fail to secure the minimum T-Score of 42 in each test battery are disqualified from further selection.
- Failure in Document Verification: Candidates who fail to provide valid documents or meet the prescribed eligibility conditions may be rejected.
- Failure in Medical exam: Candidates who do not meet the required A-2 medical standards may be declared medically unfit for Station Master post.
