The RPSC RAS is the Rajasthan Public Service Commission for Rajasthan Administrative Services. RPSC RAS is also known as Rajasthan State and Subordinate Services Combined Competitive Exam. This exam is a highly competitive exam for the selection of candidates in the Rajasthan state government for various administrative positions.

To apply for the RAS exam, it is vital for candidates to be critical of the notifications. Candidates need to apply on the portal using their ID and password.

  • First, candidates will have to complete the registration procedure online to fill their application forms.
  • After this, their application ID will be generated that will be used for all future use.
  • The online application form must be filled with the utmost precision.
  • Candidates will be able to choose their nearest district in the exam centre column.

RPSC RAS exam centres are spread across Rajasthan in different districts. There are many districts available so that candidates can choose the exam centre according to their comfort. However, it must be noted that the final exam centre in the particular district will be informed only 15 days prior to the exam in the admit card that will be issued to the candidates.

The RPSC conducts the examination and brings about certain instructions that must be followed by the candidates. The examination shall be conducted in the exam centres that will be provided in the admit card.

  • Candidates must ensure that they carry the admit card while going to the exam centre. Without it, the entry to the centre and the exam's giving will be restricted by the authorities.
  • The portal of application of RPSC RAS includes the Google location map of the exam centre, so that must be looked upon to avoid any discrepancies concerning the exam centre.
  • Candidates must carry valid identification documents with them, such as Voter ID card, Aadhaar Card, Driving License, etc. At the exam centre, the admit card and the identity cards will be verified, and only then will entry be granted.
  • Candidates must be present at least two hours prior to the examination so that there is no confusion at the centre.
  • Candidates need to carry the following.
    • Admit card
    • Photographs
    • Valid Identity Card
    • Transparent blue ballpoint pen
  • Candidates must ensure that they sit in the room according to their given roll numbers as their OMR sheets will be linked to it.
  • Candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam centre 10 minutes after the examination begins. So candidates must reach the exam centre on time.
  • Candidates must adhere to the discipline of the room. No gadgets will be allowed inside the centre.
  • Candidates must fill the OMR sheet with precision and carefully to avoid any mistakes. Any mistakes might lead to the cancellation of the examination.
  • Candidates must ensure that all proper arrangements are made well in advance with regard to giving the exam in the centre.

Ques. What is the age limit for giving the RPSC RAS examination?

Ans. The age limit of RPSC RAS is similar to other service commission examinations. The lower limit to give the exams is 21 years, while the above limitation is 40 years.
