The correct answer is

S. A. Dange

 S. A. Dange had no connection with the Indian National Army — option 1.

PersonConnection with the INA
S. A. DangeNone. Shripad Amrit Dange was a founder of the Communist Party of India and a trade union leader, an accused in the Kanpur and Meerut Conspiracy Cases. The Communists supported the war effort after 1941 as a “people’s war” and opposed the INA’s alliance with Japan
General Mohan SinghAn officer of the British Indian Army captured in Malaya who raised the first INA in 1942 from Indian prisoners of war
Shah Nawaz KhanCommander in the INA; one of the three officers tried at the Red Fort in 1945-46
Prem SahgalAlso an INA commander, and one of the same three tried at the Red Fort

The Red Fort trials. The three officers put on trial together — Prem Sahgal, Shah Nawaz Khan and Gurbaksh Singh Dhillon — were a Hindu, a Muslim and a Sikh, and the deliberate composition made the trials a national cause. The defence was conducted by a Congress committee including Bhulabhai Desai, Tej Bahadur Sapru, Asaf Ali and Jawaharlal Nehru, who put on his barrister’s gown after twenty-five years. The men were convicted of waging war against the King but the sentences were remitted in the face of public feeling.

Why it mattered. The trials produced demonstrations across the country and unrest in the armed forces, culminating in the Royal Indian Navy mutiny of February 1946. Historians treat that loss of confidence in the loyalty of Indian troops as one of the considerations that decided the British to leave.

The two phases of the INA. Mohan Singh’s force was disbanded in December 1942 after disagreements with the Japanese; it was revived in 1943 under Subhas Chandra Bose, who added the Rani of Jhansi Regiment of women soldiers under Captain Lakshmi Sahgal.

Hence, the answer is S. A. Dange.
