RRB NTPC 2025 Under Graduate CBT 1 Question Paper PDF (20-Jun-2026) (Shift 3)
The correct answer is

Either a single-house or two-house systems

Article 168 of the Constitution provides for the legislature of every state, allowing it to be either unicameral or bicameral.

A unicameral (single-house) legislature has only a Legislative Assembly (Vidhan Sabha), while a bicameral (two-house) legislature also has a Legislative Council (Vidhan Parishad). Most states are unicameral, but a few — such as Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh — have a Council as well.

Hence, a state can have either a single-house or a two-house legislature.
