Which operation is NOT suitable for a single cut file?

The correct answer is

Heavy stock removal

A single cut file has one set of parallel teeth cut across its face, which shears off very thin chips and gives a smooth finish.

It is therefore suited to fine finishing, truing flat surfaces and light deburring.

Heavy stock removal needs the deeper, faster-cutting action of a double cut file, whose crossed teeth remove metal quickly.

Hence, heavy stock removal is NOT suitable for a single cut file.
