The correct answer is

Kupffer cells

The correct answer is Option 3: Kupffer cells.

What are Kupffer cells?

Kupffer cells (also known as stellate macrophages) are specialized immune cells located in the lining of the sinusoids (blood channels) of the liver. They act as the liver's local security team, using phagocytosis to destroy worn-out red blood cells, bacteria, and foreign particles traveling through the bloodstream from the digestive tract.

What about the other cells?

Purkinje cells: Large neurons with highly branched dendrites located in the cerebellum of the brain, responsible for regulating motor movements.

Microglial cells: The primary specialized immune cells (macrophages) found in the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord).

Sensory cells: Specialized receptors found in sensory organs (like the eyes, ears, skin, and tongue) that detect external stimuli and convert them into nervous signals.
