Aluminium

Among all elements in the Earth's crust, oxygen and silicon are the most abundant overall, but among purely metallic elements, aluminium is the most abundant, making up roughly 8% of the crust by mass and occurring widely in minerals such as feldspars and clays.

Iron is the second most abundant metal, while gold and copper occur in the crust only in trace amounts, far below aluminium and iron in abundance.
