The correct answer is option 2, i.e., 1 m.

The work done (W) by a constant force is given by the formula:
W = F × d × cos(θ)

Since the force and displacement are in the same direction,
θ = 0°, so cos(0°) = 1

Given:

  • Work done, W = 5 J

  • Force, F = 5 N

Now,
5 = 5 × d × 1
d = 1 meter

So, the displacement is 1 m.
