Question

Seven students, I, J, K, P, Q, R and Z, are sitting around a round table facing the center. Only three people sit between K and Q. Counting from the right of K, only two people sit between K and R. Only two people sit between R and J. Z sits to the immediate left of I. Who sits fourth to the left of P?

RRB Group D 2025 Question Paper (18-Aug-2026) (Shift 1)
The correct answer is

Z

Facing the centre, each person's right is anti-clockwise and left is clockwise. Fix K at a seat; counting two people between K and R to K's right places R three seats anti-clockwise from K.

Three people between K and Q then forces Q four seats from K on the other side (two between via the shorter arc), and two people between R and J places J three seats anti-clockwise from R, adjacent to Q.

Z sits to the immediate left (clockwise neighbour) of I, so I takes the only free seat adjacent to Z, leaving P on the remaining seat. Counting four seats clockwise from P reaches Z, who sits fourth to the left of P.

Hence, the correct answer is Z.
