Recording of ................. in qualitative research is called as memoing.
Reflective notes
In qualitative research the researcher is the main instrument of data collection and analysis. Memoing is the practice of writing memos throughout the study to capture the researcher's thoughts about the data.
These memos are reflective notes: the researcher records insights, emerging categories, hunches about relationships between codes, questions to follow up and personal reactions while collecting and coding data. Grounded theory in particular relies on memoing to move from codes to theory, and the memos also serve as an audit trail of how interpretations developed.
Memory notes, understanding notes and research notes are not the technical names of this practice; the defining feature of a memo is reflection on the data rather than a plain record of facts.
Reflective notes option is correct.
