“One for All and All for One” is a concept related to :
Collective Security
Collective Security option is correct.
Collective security is a cooperative security arrangement in which every participating state accepts that the security of one is the concern of all and agrees to join a collective response against any aggressor. The maxim “One for All and All for One”, popularised by Alexandre Dumas' Three Musketeers, captures this reciprocal guarantee and was adopted as the guiding spirit of the League of Nations (Article 16) and later re-expressed in Article 51 of the UN Charter.
Collective Defence is narrower: it binds only the members of an alliance (for example, NATO under Article 5) to defend each other against an external attacker, not any aggressor including a member. Military Alliance is the institutional form such defence pacts take, again limited in membership. Sustainable Development belongs to the human-development discourse (Brundtland Report, SDGs) and has no doctrinal link to the phrase.
Who said that “security is not military hardware though it may include it, security is not military force though it may encompass it, security is development and without development, there is no security ?”
