Near which city is the famous Pinjore Garden located?
Chandigarh
The famous Pinjore Garden, also called Yadavindra Gardens, is located at Pinjore in the Panchkula district of Haryana, on the Chandigarh-Shimla highway, very close to the city of Chandigarh. It was laid out in the seventeenth century by Fidai Khan, a foster brother of the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb, and later restored by Maharaja Yadavindra Singh of Patiala, whose name it now bears.
The garden is a classic example of Mughal char bagh style with terraces, water channels and pavilions such as Shish Mahal and Rang Mahal. Bangalore, Delhi and Srinagar have their own famous gardens but none of them is the site of the Pinjore Garden.
Hence, Chandigarh.
