The correct answer is

Semipermeable membrane that filters out urea and excess salts

Haemodialysis mimics the filtering function of the kidney by passing the patient's blood through a dialysis machine containing a semipermeable membrane bathed in a dialysing fluid.

Urea, excess salts, and other nitrogenous wastes diffuse out of the blood across this membrane into the dialysing fluid, following the concentration gradient, while useful blood cells and proteins are retained.

There is no heating chamber, centrifuge, or UV lamp involved in this process.

Therefore, haemodialysis purifies blood using a semipermeable membrane that filters out urea and excess salts.
