The correct answer is

10 cm

A regular octagon has 8 equal sides. The perimeter equals 8 × side.

\(\text{Side} = \dfrac{\text{Perimeter}}{8} = \dfrac{80}{8} = 10 \text{ cm}\)

Hence, the side length is 10 cm.
