The sides of an open box are 0.5 cm thick and the bottom is 1 cm thick. The internal length, breadth and depth are respectively 14 cm, 10 cm and 8 cm. It is completely filled with water.

If the material weighs 2000 kg per cubic metre, then what is the weight of the material used in the construction of the box?

The correct answer is

730 gm

Using the given dimensions of the box and the density of the material, the weight of the material used is calculated to be 730 gm.
