TNSET 2024 Paper II – Public Administration 08-Mar-2025, Shift-2 consisted of 100 subject-specific MCQs for 200 marks, along with Paper I of 50 MCQs (100 marks), making a total of 150 questions for 300 marks to be attempted in 3 hours without a break. Each correct answer carried +2 marks and there was no negative marking. Paper II focused on Public Administration topics such as administrative theory, governance, public policy, administrative law, and related areas. Candidates must hold a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (50% for reserved categories) and secure the prescribed cut-off in both papers. Only those within the top qualifying percentage are declared eligible, and successful candidates are awarded the TNSET certificate, enabling them to apply for Assistant Professor positions in Tamil Nadu universities and colleges.
