Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) takes exams for different posts within the governmental departments in the state. The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) decides the eligibility criteria for different exams scheduled by the agency. MPPSC (State Service Exam) is taken in three stages:

  • Prelims
  • Mains
  • Interview

MPPSC Eligibility 2021

The eligibility criteria for MPPSC include:

  1. The candidate appearing for MPPSC must be an Indian citizen.
  2. In case, male candidates who are applying for the post have more than one wife (living) will not be allowed to give the exam
  3. Also, female test takers who are in marital relation with a man married already are not permitted to write the exam.
  4. Moreover, candidates asking for age relaxation or other reservations in more than one category will not get the benefit.
  5. Male candidates must not get married before 21 while the female candidates who married at less than 18 years of age will not be considered for the post.
  6. The candidates need to have good mental and physical health so that they can take care of their duties and responsibilities as an officer. The candidates who are fit and healthy will be considered for appointment.

MPPSC Age Limit

The minimum and maximum age limit for writing MPPSC State Service Exam for the candidates belonging to General and Reserved Categories are mentioned below:

  • At least age limit – 21 years
  • Maximum age limit – 35 years (For permanent residents of MP) and 30 years (for other candidates)

Age Relaxation

The age relaxation given to the candidates is discussed below:

MPPSC Qualification

The minimum educational qualification required to write the MPPSC exam include:

  • Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree will be considered
  • Candidates who are qualified by the Commission to give State Services (Main) exam have to produce mark sheet/proof of passing examination in addition to the application form. Any application form if found without the mark sheet/proof of passing the bachelor’s degree will be rejected straight away.
  • Also, candidates with professional and technical degrees are eligible to apply for the exam.

Candidates appearing for MPPSC exam have to qualify Physical Measurements/Fitness for several posts. Candidates need to give a medical test as well post appearing for the interview, to get considered for the post.

Things to consider while applying for MPPSC Exam

Candidates need to stay aware about the following factors, else their chances to get appointment will reduce:

  • Taking help or assistance from someone else while giving the exam or at the time of interview will result in cancellation of the application.
  • In case, candidates submit fake documents.
  • If incorrect statements are made at the initial stage of selection.
  • Copying content or answers while giving the exam.
  • In case candidates harass, threaten, or cause any injury to the staff engaged, he/she will be disqualified.
  • In case, candidates violate any of the instructions mentioned on the admit card.
  • If candidates misbehaves in the examination hall or in the interview.

Hi Kashish. Minimum Age to give this exam (as on March 1, 2021) is 18 years while the maximum age limit (as on March 1, 2021) is 33 years. Refer here to get other details related to the same.
