Formed in 1956, Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission or MPPSC is a state government-owned and managed agency of Madhya Pradesh state. The primary role of the agency is to conduct civil services examinations and other competitive exams. Lakhs of aspirants apply for various civil services and departmental jobs within MP state each year. MPPSC conducts entrance tests for several jobs within the state governmental departments. The frequency of these exams is once a year. MPPSC (State Service Exam) is conducted three times in a year at three stages including, Prelims, Mains, and Interview.

MPPSC 2021 Application Fee

How to download the Admit Card

  • Admit cards will be issued by the authorities to those candidates only who have successfully completed the application form.
  • Admit card is made available online at least before 10-15 days of the exam
  • Click on the official site and log in using your credentials.
  • On the page, tap on the “click admit card” option to download the card.
  • Candidates have to take a print out of the admit card.
  • It is vital for the candidates to carry their Admit Card while entering inside the examination hall.
  • No candidate will be permitted to go inside the exam centre, without the admit card.

A separate admit card will be issued in the name eligible and/or qualifying candidates before the respective exam.

Eligibility criteria of the MPPSC Exam 2021

The age limit to give MPPSC exam, educational qualification, etc. are discussed below.

  • The candidates need to be an Indian citizen.
  • Male candidates having more than one wife (present) are not entitled to give the exam.
  • Female candidates establishing a relationship with a married man will not be able to get this job.
  • The candidates who claim age relaxation or reservation in more than one category for Exam shall get only one concession.
  • The minimum age of the candidate can vary from 18-21 years while they should not be more than 40 years as on January 1, 2021.

Detailed age criteria

Age criteria also vary from one post to the other such as:

  • Candidates applying for Assistant Superintendent post must be between 18 to 30 years
  • For Transportation sub-inspector post, age limit must be between 21 to 35 years
  • For Superintendent of the police post, the age limit is 20 to 45 years
  • For other posts, candidates’ age must be between 21 to 40 years

To give the exam, the candidates’ Physical Measurements/Fitness for a few posts will be considered. Also, these candidates need to give a medical test as well as post-interview to get shortlisted for the job. For more details, click here

The course content is prepared by the MPPSC. The commission takes Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) for appointing officers and employees within different departments of the Madhya Pradesh Government.
