KSET 2026 candidates must meet the prescribed educational qualification and minimum marks criteria to apply for KSET 2026:
General category candidates must have secured at least 55% marks without rounding off in a Master’s degree or equivalent examination from a UGC-recognized university or higher education institution.
Candidates belonging to SC-A, SC-B, SC-C, ST, OBC Category-I, IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB, PwD, and Transgender categories must have secured at least 50% marks without rounding off.
Candidates who have completed their Master’s degree, as well as eligible final-year or second-year postgraduate students currently pursuing their degree, can appear for KSET 2026.
KSET 2026 will be conducted on October 11, 2026, across 11 districts of Karnataka. Candidates can select their preferred examination centre while filling out the application form; however, candidates appearing for certain subjects must select Bengaluru as their examination centre.
