JTET 2026 exam pattern 2026 comprises two papers – Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is for candidates aspiring to teach classes 1 to 5 (primary), while Paper 2 is for those aiming to teach classes 6 to 8 (upper primary). Both papers are evaluated on a total of 150 marks. Candidates get to complete JTET 2026 exam within 2 hours and 30 minutes. The questions are objective-type/ multiple-choice in nature, covering topics such as Child Development and Pedagogy, languages, Mathematics, EVS etc. The exam is conducted offline, in pen and paper mode.
