How to Download JKPSC 2021 Admit card?

There will be different admit cards for every stage of examination i.e. Prelims, Mains, Interview. JKPSC admit card for all the posts will be available on the official website of the Commission. The candidates are advised to download the Admit Card at the earliest. It is because this will prevent the candidates from getting into the last-minute hustle.

Often candidates face difficulty while downloading admit cards because of the poor connectivity. So, make sure that you have a stable internet connection that will enable you to access the official website without any kind of interruptions.

The steps to download the admit card are given below:

Step 1- Go to the JKPSC official website at

Step 2- On the home screen, go to the “What’s New…” section.

Step 3- Search through the notifications about the JKPSC Exam you applied to appear for.

Step 4- Click on the link that mentions admit cards for the examination for which you want to download. It should be there in the format like “Admit Cards for SAC Part-I Departmental Examination (Roll no 51 to 100)”. Open this above-mentioned link window on the other tab in the same window.

Step 5- On this pdf click on the “download” icon to download and save the file on your PC.

Step 6- Now, open the downloaded pdf file. Then, type your name in the “Search or Find on this page”

Step 7- This will take you to the page on which your name is written. Right there you will get you to admit card.

Step 8- Take a print out of the particular page on which your details are mentioned. Save it for the day of examination.

The most important thing to do when you see your admit card is carefully checked all the details mentioned on it. In case you find any error on your admit card, write an email to the student help desk informing them about the same.

JKPSC 2021 Admit Card: Important Instructions

The admit card is the most important document throughout the examination process. The candidates have to carry it with themselves compulsorily, else they would not be allowed to sit for the exam.

  • Hard copy of Admit Card - The test taker should have a physical admit card. At the main gate of the examination centre, all the candidate will have to show the hard copy of their admit card. The soft copies of the admit card will not be accepted.
  • Know your Venue - It is always advised to take
  • Reach on time - The latecomers are not entertained at the Examination centres. It is really important that the test takers reach before the mentioned time. This will even avoid the last-minute stress and the candidate can give the test with their relaxed state of mind.
  • Official Instructions – The candidates should carefully read all the instructions mentioned on their admit card well in advance. It is important to go through them and abide by the rules and regulations to be followed in the examination hall. The following are the instructions mentioned on the JKPSC admit card:
    • Mobile phones or any other electronic gadgets or digital devices are not allowed inside the examination hall.
    • The candidate should not reveal their identity on their answer sheet in any form. If a test-taker discloses their identification in the answer book, they will be charged under the unfair means and will be subjected to punishment according to the rules mentioned in the conduct of JKPSC examination.
    • Candidates must not write anything on their admit cards.
    • The pages which remain unused after writing the exam, should not be left blank as it is. The blank sheets have to be crossed with a red pen before the final submission.


Ques. Will I receive the physical copy of my JKPSC admit card by post?

Ans. No, the candidates will not receive the hard copy from the Commission. You can go on the official website of JKPSC, and download the admit card online. And take a print out of it and save it for the future.

Ques. How should I calculate my correct age as per the rules of the JKPSC application form?

Ans. The age of the candidate should be calculated as on the 1st of January of the year when the Advertisement for that particular post is posted.
