JEE Main 2027 Eligibility Criteria
JEE Main 2027 eligibility criteria include the qualifying examination, year of passing and other conditions prescribed by NTA. Candidates must also fulfil the admission requirements of their preferred institutes.
JEE Main 2027 Age Limit and Educational Qualification
- Age Limit: There is no minimum or maximum age limit for appearing in JEE Main 2027.
- Qualifying Examination: Candidates must have passed or be appearing in Class 12 or an equivalent recognised examination.
- Passing Year: Candidates who passed Class 12 in 2025 or 2026, or are appearing in 2027, are eligible.
- Not Eligible: Candidates who passed Class 12 in 2024 or earlier cannot appear in JEE Main 2027.
- Equivalent Qualifications: Recognised qualifications include NIOS Senior Secondary examinations with at least five subjects, eligible three-year diplomas and other qualifications listed in the bulletin.
Can Class 12 Appearing Students Apply for JEE Main 2027?
Yes. Students appearing for their Class 12 board examinations in 2027 can register for JEE Main 2027.
Candidates should remember that the first year in which they passed Class 12 is considered their passing year. Improvement examinations do not change this year.

B.Arch drawing questions are attempted offline on an A4 drawing sheet, while its Mathematics and Aptitude sections are computer-based. B.Planning is conducted entirely through CBT.
