India Post GDS 2026 Selection Process is conducted without any written examination or interview. Candidates are shortlisted purely on the merit of Class 10 marks, followed by document verification for final selection. The selection stages are given below:
- Applicants will be selected based on marks secured in the matriculation exam.
- Applicants' marks will be rounded off to the accuracy of 4 decimals, and will be added to the merit list for the selection process.
- Selection will be done only on the basis of merit list (based on Class 10th examination). Additionally, no preferences will be given to past experience, service knowledge and other parameters.
