UPSC releases Indian Economic Service (IES)/Indian Statistical Service (ISS) 2020 admit card, 3- 2 weeks before the exam. The UPSC IES/ISS 2020 exam is scheduled to be held from October 16 to 18, 2020. The admit card will be issued on the official website of UPSC in online mode Candidates who have successfully completed the application process will be able to download the admit card.

To download the admit card, candidates will have to enter registration ID and Date of Birth or Roll Number and password. Candidates are also advised to check the admit card very minutely if there is an error. Without the hall ticket, no candidate will be allowed in the exam hall. How To Download UPSC IES/ISS Admit Card 2020

The admit card will be released 2-3 weeks before the exam date which means it might be released in the first week of October 2020. Candidates should be aware of how to download the admit card to avoid unnecessary hustle and bustle:

  • Visit official website
  • Click on "e-admit cards for various examinations of UPSC"
  • Click on the link ‘UPSC IES admit card 2020’
  • Enter your credentials - registration ID and date of birth or roll number and date of birth or candidate's name or father’s name and date of birth.
  • Choose any of the mediums to download and click on ‘submit’.
  • Candidates will be able to see the admit card/hall ticket on the screen.
  • Download it and take a printout of hall ticket of UPSC IES/ISS 2020.
  • It is advisable to take several printed copies for future reference.

In order to appear for the IES/ISS written examination, candidates need to carry the hard copy of the admit card along with a valid photo identity card issued by the Central or State government for the verification purpose. Some of the identity cards accepted for the verification are below.

Exam Day Instructions of UPSC IES/ISS 2020

Here are a few important guidelines for UPSC IES-ISS 2020:

  • It is advised to all the candidates to reach the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the reporting time.
  • The UPSC IES/ISS 2020 first stage will be conducted in the written mode. Hence, candidates are advised to carry the required stationary with them.
  • The duration of each paper will be three hours and candidates will not be able to leave the exam hall between the exam hours.
  • Candidates must avoid carrying electronic items and gadgets and if they are found in possession of these items they will not be able to appear for the exam.
  • Candidates will also be debarred from appearing in future exams if they are involved in disturbing activities

Ans. Yes, it is possible to have an error in your UPSC IES/ISS Admit card. In case of any discrepancy in IES/ISS admit card, candidates should contact the UPSC without any delay. Aspirants can use the Facilitation Counter in the Commission's Office to access the information regarding e-admit card or exam. Ques. Will the UPSC IES/ISS admit sent via post?

Ans. No, the admit card of UPSC IES/ISS will not be sent through the post. Candidates will have to download it from the official website.

Ans. Candidates can download the UPSC IES admit card from the official website once the conducting board has released it on the site.

Ques. I lost the UPSC IES/ISS admit card. How can I download it again?

Ans. In such a case that you are about to enter the exam hall and lost your hard copy of admit card. You just need to follow the same procedure to download it again and get yourself a hard copy of it.

Ques. Will I be required to carry the same admit card in the interview of the UPSC IES/ISS 2020?

Ans. No, UPSC will issue separate admit cards of the interview round to those candidates who qualify the written exam.
