The NTPC Recruitment Through GATE Exam will be announced for the posts of Engineering Executive Graduates. Candidates who have qualified GATE Exam from the disciplines of Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation and Electronics engineers will be eligible.

NTPC Recruitment Through GATE Exam: Eligibility Criteria

NTPC GATE Recruitment 2026: Educational Qualifications

Candidates must qualify a degree in Engineering with at least of 65% marks in B.E./ T.Tech. and AMIE Studying in fulltime basis. The candidates who are in their final year of completing their bachelor's will be able to apply. However, they must produce 65% marks in their final result before the date of joining the NTPC as employee.

Candidates will be able to apply in online mode from the official website of NTPC. they have to register through and the registration number and password will be generated.

Then, all the important details must be filled in along with the application fees and required documents. In most cases, only the passport-size photograph in jpg/jpeg format not exceeding 500kb is required. After submitting the complete application form, take a print out copy for future reference. • Valid GATE 2026 scorecard
• Date of birth proof. Candidates can carry the 10th class certificate for the same.
• Certificate/Provisional Certificate/Degree/PG Degree/Diploma and mark sheets of all semesters/years.

NTPC Recruitment Through GATE Exam: Salary and Training Details

The amount of the salary may defer depending on the discipline and the posts. However, it should range from Rs. 40,000/- to Rs. 1,40,000/- per month for NTPC Engineering Executive Trainee. There are various allowances provided by NTPC such as dearness allowance, medical benefits, paid leaves, provident fund, gratuity etc. as per company rules. 

The selected candidates will go through a one-year training pprogramme. The final postings of the NTPC Engineering Executive Trainee will be decided after competition of the training. The selected candidates can be placed anywhere in India and given work shifts as per the requirements.

NTPC Recruitment through GATE 2026 Service Bond
