GATE 2027 Application Form; Apply Online, Registration Dates, Fees & Last Date

IIT Madras will conduct GATE 2027 application process through the GOAPS portal. Eligible candidates can register online from August 14, 2027, while the last date to submit the application without a late fee is September 21, 2027. Candidates who miss the deadline for GATE 2027 can apply with a late fee until September 30, 2027. After the registration process, the application correction facility will be made available for candidates to update permitted details in their submitted application forms.

GATE 2027 Application Process is conducted through GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) Portal. Candidates can register and submit their GATE 2027 Application Form online through this portal. Below are the essential steps to apply for GATE 2027-

• Click on the "Register" button on the homepage.
• Create a new account by providing basic personal details like name, email address, and mobile number.

Step 2: Filling the Application Form

• Log in to your GOAPS account.
• Enter academic details such as your undergraduate degree information, marks, and institution.
• Select your preferred GATE Paper based on your specialisation and career goals.
• Choose your preferred exam centre from the available options.

Step 3: Upload Documents

• Upload scanned copies of the required documents, including a recent photograph, signature, and category certificate (if applicable).

Step 4: Pay the Application Fee

• Pay the applicable application fee through the available online payment methods, including credit cards, debit cards, or net banking.

Step 5: Final Submission

• Once all the details are filled in and the documents are uploaded, carefully review your application.
• Click "Submit" to finalise your application.

Step 6: Download the Application

• After submission, you can download a copy of your application form for your records.
