IIT Madras has released GATE 2027 Notification on July 20, 2026, announcing the complete exam schedule and application dates. GATE 2027 registration began on September 2, 2026, and the last date to apply was September 27, 2026. The registration deadline has now been extended, and candidates can submit applications without late fee until October 5, 2026. GATE 2027 exam will be conducted in CBT mode on February 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, and 21, 2027, across 30 test papers. A new Robotics & Automation paper has also been introduced, while the syllabus for several existing papers has been revised.

GATE Application Fee 2027 depends on the candidate's category and whether they apply during the regular or extended registration period. Candidates applying during the extended period are required to pay the applicable late fee.

• If your application is successfully submitted, it will show the relevant application status.

Step 3: Correct Any Discrepancies

• If you notice any errors in your application or if the status shows any issues, promptly correct the details by following the instructions provided in the portal.
• Once the corrections are made, resubmit the application.
