IIT Madras has released the GATE 2027 Notification on July 20, 2026, announcing the complete exam schedule and application dates. GATE 2027 registration will begin on Sep 2, 2026, after being rescheduled, and candidates can apply online until Sep 27, 2026. GATE 2027 exam will be conducted in CBT mode on February 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, and 21, 2027, across 30 test papers. A new Robotics & Automation paper has also been introduced, while the syllabus for several existing papers has been revised.
GATE 2027 application process will be conducted online through the GOAPS (GATE Online Application Processing System) portal. The registration window will open on September 2, 2026, and candidates can submit their applications without a late fee until Sept 27, 2026.
