The BHEL Engineering Trainees are rewarded as per the 7th Pay Commission. After the training period, the basic pay of the BHEL Engineering Trainee will be Rs 50,000/-. The trainees would be hired as Engineers/Executives on a pay scale of Rs 60,000-1,80,000/- with a base pay of Rs 60,000/- after completing their course.

The selected candidates will be asked to sign a bond of service of INR 2,00,000/- to serve the company after completion of their training. Candidates will also have to sign a surety bond with the company.
During the training period and later, the candidates will not be allowed to request any transfer and if any outside influence is used, Rule 17 of the BHEL will be taken into consideration, with the Discipline and Appeal Rules 1975 coming into place.
