BSF Constable application process 2025 was conducted online through the official BSF website. This application process involved registration, filling out personal and educational details, uploading documents, and paying the application fee online. BSF Constable application window 2025 remained open from July 26 to August 23, 2025. After which, the application form correction window was available from August 24 to 26, 2025. Candidates with an age between 18 and 25 years, having passed Matriculation (10th) with relevant trade skills or ITI qualifications, were allowed to apply for the BSF Constable recruitment 2025.

How to apply for BSF Constable 2025?

Candidates applying for BSF Constable 2025 must follow the steps given below:

1. Register / Create One-Time Profile:

• On the portal, find and click the “One Time Registration (OTR)” or “Register” link.
• Use a valid email address and mobile number, enter required basic details, and set your login credentials (ID/password).
• After registration, you’ll receive your registration ID and password; keep these safe.

2. Fill in the Application Form:

• Log in to the portal using your registration ID and password.
• Select the “Apply Online” link for the specific post you are applying to
• Fill in all required details: personal information, contact details, educational/trade qualifications, category details (if applicable).
• Upload required documents: photograph, signature, proof of qualifications/trade certificate, category certificate if applicable. Follow the dimensions and file size guidelines as given in the notification.

3. Pay the Application Fee:

• Pay your application fee according to the category you belong to through the online mode.

4. Submit Application & Print Confirmation:

• Review all entered information carefully before final submission. Once submitted, changes may not be allowed.
• Submit the application form. After submission, download or print the confirmation page or application summary for your records.

The candidates can complete BSF Constable application fee payment through different payment gateways like the Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking/UPI transactions. The application fee for candidates from different categories are given below:

Documents Required for BSF Constable Application 2025

As part of BSF Constable online application and subsequent verification process, candidates are required to upload multiple documents to prove identity, eligibility, educational qualification, trade proficiency, and category status, which are given below:

• Recent passport-size photograph (scanned copy).
• Signature of the candidate (scanned) to be uploaded.
• Matriculation (10th class) certificate or equivalent, showing the DOB and educational qualification.
• Mark sheets of class 10 (and/or higher, if required) indicating your educational performance.
• Trade certificate/ITI certificate in the relevant trade (for tradesman posts) or NSQF Level certificate (where applicable).
• Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) if applying under any reserved category, as per norms.
• Any age‐relaxation certificate or special category certificate (if claiming age relaxation or other benefits).
• Identity proof (such as Aadhaar card, PAN, passport, voter ID) as specified in the notification.

BSF Constable Correction Window

After BSF Constable application window was closed, it opened a correction window from August 24, 2025, to August 26, 2025 (till 11:00 pm).

• Steps to make corrections: Candidates can log in to their account on the official portal. Go to the “Edit Application Form” link during the correction period, make required edits, submit any additional fee (Rs. 100 per correction), and then save/print the updated form.
• What can be corrected: Candidates were allowed to correct details such as trade preference, category, personal information (name, father’s name), photograph/signature, and contact details (mobile, email).

BSF Constable selection process includes a Physical Test (that has PST & PET), a written test, and a Trade Test for tradesman posts. Qualified candidates then undergo document verification and a detailed medical examination before the final merit list is prepared.
