RRB Group D Result 2026 Out, CEN 08/2024 Zone-Wise Merit List & Scorecard

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has declared RRB Group D Result 2026 on July 1, 2026, for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) conducted under CEN 08/2024. Along with the result, RRB has also released the Group D Score Card 2026 and cutoff marks. Candidates can now check their qualifying status and see if they have been shortlisted for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The recruitment drive aims to fill 32,438 Level-1 vacancies across various Railway Zones, with over 1.08 crore candidates having registered and around 60 lakh appearing in the selection process.

RRB Group D Cut Off 2026 (Zone & Category Wise)

Along with the result, RRB has released the RRB Group D Cut Off 2026, published separately for each railway zone and for each category (UR, OBC, SC, ST, EWS). The cut-off is the final normalised score required to be shortlisted for the PET, and it is generally higher than the minimum qualifying marks. The cut-off differs from zone to zone because vacancies, competition, and shift difficulty vary by region. Candidates should download their regional cut-off PDF from the respective RRB website and compare their normalised score with the zone-and-category cut-off to check their qualifying status.

Since the CBT was held in multiple shifts over several months, RRB applies an equi-percentile normalisation method — raw marks in each shift are converted to normalised scores so that no candidate is advantaged or disadvantaged by the difficulty level of their particular shift.

What’s Next After RRB Group D Result 2026 ?

Once RRB declares RRB Group D result, the following steps happen for the next stage of the selection process:

1. Result Declaration (CBT Stage): RRB will declare the Computer-Based Test (CBT) result of candidates in the form of a merit list on the regional website.
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates qualified in CBT must appear for the PET. Male candidates must run 1000m in 4 minutes 15 seconds and lift/carry 35 kg for 100m in 2 minutes; female candidates must run 1000m in 5 minutes 40 seconds and lift/carry 20 kg for 100m in 2 minutes.
3. Document Verification (DV): Candidates who clear the PET will be called for Document Verification (DV).
4. Medical Examination: After DV, candidates are to undergo a medical fitness test, which will be conducted by Railway doctors.
5. Final Merit List & Allotment: RRB will prepare the final merit list of candidates based on their CBT scores.
