RRB Group D 2026 Exam Analysis

Based on previous RRB Group D exam, the overall difficulty level of the CBT generally remains easy to moderate. The level may, however, vary according to the examination date and shift.

Reasoning has usually been the most scoring section because questions are based on familiar concepts such as series, analogy, coding-decoding, directions, and blood relations. Mathematics remains easy to moderate but can be time-consuming because of lengthy calculations.

General Science questions are primarily based on Class 10-level Physics, Chemistry, and Biology concepts. General Awareness is comparatively unpredictable, as it includes both static GK and current affairs. Previous shift analyses have generally rated the examination easy to moderate, with some shifts reported as moderate.

RRB Group D 2026 Difficulty Level

Subject Expected Difficulty Level
Mathematics Easy to Moderate
General Intelligence and Reasoning Easy to Moderate
General Science Moderate
General Awareness and Current Affairs Moderate
Overall Easy to Moderate

An overall attempt of approximately 75 to 85 questions with high accuracy may be considered competitive for an easy-to-moderate paper. The actual safe-attempt range will depend on the shift difficulty, normalization, vacancies, and category-wise cut-off.
