Question

This question contains three categories. These categories may or may not be linked to one another. Each category may fit into one of the diagrams given below in the options. Select the diagram which most aptly represents the relationship among the given categories.
Dogs, Pets, Rabbits

The correct answer is

Dogs are pets and rabbits are also pets, but not every dog or rabbit is kept as a pet, and not every pet is a dog or a rabbit.

So the circle for pets partly overlaps the circle for dogs and partly overlaps the circle for rabbits.

Dogs and rabbits are completely different animals, so their circles do not overlap at all.

Check: The diagram needed has three circles in a chain, with pets in the middle overlapping both dogs and rabbits, and dogs and rabbits kept apart.

Hence, the diagram of three circles in a chain, where the middle circle overlaps both outer circles and the outer circles do not touch.
