The total number of students who passed from Zone-M in all the six years taken together is approximately what percentage of the total number of students who appeared from Zone-M in all the six years taken together?

The correct answer is

60%

Used Formula:

Pass percentage of students = Passed students/Present students × 100

Calculation:

Total number of passed students in Zone-M over all six years = 410 + 480 + 390 + 396 + 424 + 464 = 2564

Total number of present students in Zone-M over all six years = 720 + 728 + 680 + 695 + 712 + 740 = 4275

Percentage = 2564/4275 × 100 = 59.98% ≈ 60%

∴ Desired percentage is 60%
