SSC GD 2018 Question Paper Hindi (11-Mar-2019) (Shift 3)
The correct answer is

Mexico

The Green Revolution refers to the sharp rise in food-grain production through high-yielding varieties of seeds, chemical fertilisers, pesticides and irrigation.

It began in Mexico in the 1940s-50s, where Norman Borlaug developed high-yielding, disease-resistant dwarf wheat varieties; he is called the Father of the Green Revolution.

These Mexican wheat varieties were later brought to India in the 1960s, where M. S. Swaminathan led the Green Revolution.

Hence, Mexico.
