Garampani Wildlife Sanctuary, one of the oldest wildlife sanctuaries in Assam, is located in which district ?
Karbi Anglong
Garampani Wildlife Sanctuary was established in 1952 and covers about 6 square kilometres, which makes it one of the oldest and smallest wildlife sanctuaries of Assam. It is named after the hot water springs (garam pani) found inside it.
The sanctuary lies in the Karbi Anglong district of Assam, close to the boundary with Golaghat district and near the Nambor forests, and is known for hoolock gibbons, golden langurs and several bird species.
Golaghat district is the gateway to the sanctuary and is home to Kaziranga National Park, but the sanctuary itself is not inside it. Dima Hasao is a separate hill district, and Sonitpur district contains Nameri National Park and Burachapori Sanctuary, not Garampani.
Karbi Anglong option is correct.
