MH SET 2021 was the 37th edition of the Maharashtra State Eligibility Test, delayed and disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic before Savitribai Phule Pune University finally conducted it on 26 September 2021 across 14 centres in Maharashtra and one in Goa. MH SET 2021 Exam Highlights
The same structure as MH SET exam pattern was used before and after the pandemic disruption , so nothing changed on the paper itself despite the delayed schedule. Both papers were held on the same day in a single sitting.
- Paper I: 50 questions for 100 marks, 1 hour, general teaching and research aptitude, common for all candidates.
- Paper II: 100 questions for 200 marks, 2 hours, based on the subject chosen from 32 options.
- Marking: 2 marks for each correct answer, no negative marking in either paper.
- Timing: Paper I from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, Paper II from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, on the same day.
- Minimum qualifying marks: 40 percent aggregate for general category, 35 percent for reserved category candidates.
