LIC ADO Eligibility Criteria 2026: Qualification, Age & Experience Required

Ans. The minimum age limit for the LIC ADO exam 2026 is 21 years. The LIC ADO minimum age limit is the same for Agent Category, Employee Category, and others for different categories along with rural and urban. Candidates who want to apply for LIC ADO 2026 or any of the posts mentioned above must be at least the age of 21 years.

Ans. To apply as an Agent Category, candidates must serve for a minimum of 3 years and for Employee Category, at least 5 years of experience is required.

Ans. There is no restriction on the number of times a candidate can make attempt at the LIC ADO exam. Candidates can appear as many times as they want till they reach the upper limit of the age defined by the eligibility criteria. In other words, an applicant falling under the general category will be able to apply till 30 years of age.

Ans. The educational qualification for the Employee category, Agents category, and others is the same for both the Rural and Urban area. The LIC ADO applicant must at least have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

Ans. Yes, there is age relaxation on the upper age limit for reserved categories. Candidates belonging to SC and ST will receive a relaxation of 5 years while the OBC NCL candidates will only be able to exercise 3 years of relaxation. Thus, the age limit for SC/ST candidates to apply for the LIC ADO exam becomes 21-35 years and for the candidates belonging to the OBC category is 21-33 years.

Also, there are certain age relaxations provided to the candidates who are LIC employees or ex-servicemen of the LIC. The age relaxation for present or ex- LIC employees varies as per candidates’ category.
