The Life Insurance Corporation (LIC), the oldest investment company and insurance provider, releases notification for the post of Apprentice Development Officer (ADO) to fill vacancies created in different zones. To apply for the LIC ADO exam, general candidates must be between 21-30 years.

LIC ADO 2026 Eligibility Criteria: Age Limit and Age Relaxation

Candidates must be informed about the specified age limits defined by the corporation to apply for the LIC ADO exam as only the candidates who fall within the specified age limit can appear for the exam. The minimum age limit to apply for the post of LIC Apprentice Development Officer is 21 years and the maximum age limit is 30 years. There are certain age relaxations for the candidates belonging to the reserved categories.

LIC ADO 2026 Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualification

The required educational qualification to apply for the LIC ADO exam is as follows:

  • The candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university/board.
  • Apart from this, priority is given to the candidates that have a better understanding of Insurance marketing or possess Masters in Business Administration or PG Diploma in Marketing from any institute approved by the Indian Council of Technical Education (ICTE).
