Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) is going to conduct examination for the recruitment of Constable (Male & Female) and Sub-Inspector in Haryana Police. The candidates who have applied successfully for the exam will face the Written exam(Knowledge test) first. The exam dates will be held separately for each post. The first step of the selection process is the Knowledge Test or Written Test. The Written test is followed by the Physical Screening Test (PST) and Physical Measurement Test(PMT). The written test of this exam will be offline.

Haryana Police Recruitment Exam 2020: Exam Pattern

A candidate has to require the exam pattern of Haryana Police Recruitment exam so that he/she can start the preparation according to the subjects and the pattern of marks of each and every topic is given. The Haryana Police Constable Written Test Pattern is easily accessible for every candidate. Here is the Exam Pattern of the Knowledge Test:

  • The written test will be multiple choice objective type.
  • There shall be one composite paper carrying 100 questions.
  • Each question shall carry 0.80 marks. So paper will be of total 80 marks.
  • The duration of the test will be 01:30 hours (90 minutes).
  • There is no negative marking for wrong attempts.
  • The Level of Questions will be 10+2 standard.
  • The medium of the exam will be Hindi or English as per the candidate’s choice.
  • The question will be from General Studies, General ability, current affairs, General Reasoning, Mental Aptitude, Numerical Agriculture, Animal husbandry, other relevant fields/trades and computer basic knowledge.

PST Test

Physical Screening Test Pattern (PST)

Candidates who belong to dependents of Ex-servicemen and dependent of Freedom Fighter categories are required to qualify in Physical Screening Test with similar standard to the candidates who belong to the other categories such as General, OBC-A, BC-B, SC etc.

Candidates qualifying the knowledge test, equal to 7 times the number of vacancies will appear for the physical screening test which is only qualifying in nature. It would judge the physical fitness and endurance of candidates. Here is a chart that shows the exact distance the candidates are required to cross in a given duration of time:

  • This test will be of qualifying in nature.
  • Only the candidates who qualify the standards prescribed for PST shall be allowed to take part in the further process of selection.

The candidates who qualify the physical screening test (PST) of Haryana Police Recruitment exam shall undergo Physical Measurement Test Pattern (PMT). They will be required to fulfil the criteria as given below:

The HSSC Haryana Police Examination,2021 has been postponed. Hi Rahul, Cut off will be released after the declaration of result on the official website of Haryana Police. The cut off or qualifying marks is essential to participate in further selection rounds. Hi Nishu. The first phase of the Haryana Police Recruitment will have MCQs of 80 marks. A total of 100 questions will be asked of 0.8 mark each that must be completed within 90 minutes.
