DMRC Recruitment Test 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria for DMRC Recruitment Test 2020 is laid down by the corporation. Individuals must ensure that they meet all the eligibility requirements of posts they wish to apply for. The various criteria for appearing in the exam are as follows:

Nationality: Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply for DMRC 2020.

Age Limit: The age limit will vary for different posts. The lower age limit is 18 years while the upper age limit is 28 years for non-executive posts and 30 years for executive posts. Age relaxation will be applicable for reserved category applicants.

Educational Qualification: Aspirants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in the respective field and should secure the minimum aggregate as specified by DMRC. Individuals awaiting their results or appearing for the final semester of the qualifying exam are also eligible to appear for the test.

How to fill DMRC Application Form 2020?

DMRC Recruitment 2020 Application Form is available at the official website i.e. from December 14, 2019 – January 20, 2020 (Extended). It should be noted that the application forms can be submitted only through the online mode. Candidates are advised to carefully read the official DMRC 2020 Recruitment Notification before beginning with the application process.

Pre-Requisites for DMRC Registration 2020

Candidates must keep the following documents and details handy while registering for the recruitment exam:

  • A valid mobile number
  • An active email ID
  • Scanned passport size photograph
  • Scanned image of your signature
  • scanned image of Date of Birth proof
  • scanned image of Caste/ category certificate (if applicable)

Steps to fill DMRC Recruitment Application Form

Application process for DMRC Recruitment Test 2020 comprises 4 main steps- Registration and filling of Application Form, Uploading Documents, Payment of Fees and Generation of Registration Slip. Pre-requisites for filling DMRC Recruitment Test 2020 Application Form are:

Step 1: DMRC Exam Registration 2020

  • Visit the official website –, click on ‘Career’ tab.
  • Next, select and read the recruitment notification titled ‘ADVT. NO.: DMRC/HR/Rectt./I/2020’ and then choose the option of ‘New Registration’.
  • The following window will be displayed on the screen.

  • Enter the post category, your name, mobile number, email ID and security pin and click on submit.
  • Your registered user ID and Password will be sent to you via mail and SMS.

Step 2: Fill DMRC Application Form 2020

Log in again with your user ID and password.

You will have to fill your personal, educational and contact details in the form.

Enter your date of birth, parents details, family income, category, present and permanent address, highest qualification, work experience, etc

Fill the form very carefully as no form correction will be possible after the final submission.

Step 3: Upload Scanned Documents

Candidates have to upload the following documents in the prescribed specifications:

Step 4: Pay DMRC Application Fees

  • The application fees for General, OBC and EWS category is INR 500 and INR 250 for SC, ST, PwD and Women candidates of all categories.
  • Candidates who want to apply for more than 1 post will have to pay separate fees for each course.
  • The fees is exclusive of transaction charges which will have to be borne by the candidates.
  • DMRC Application Fees can be paid in online mode only using Debit card, Credit card or Netbanking.

How to Retrieve DMRC Application Number or Password?

Aspirants are allotted a unique application number for DMRC Recruitment 2020 during the registration process. In case a participant forgets his password, then the steps involved in retrieving it are given below:

  • Go to the registered candidate’s login page of DMRC and enter your registration ID.
  • Click on ‘Forgot Password’.
  • Applicants will be required to enter their Date of Birth as also their parents’ name.
  • Click on ‘Submit’. Enter a new password of your choice.

DMRC Recruitment Test 2020 FAQs

Ques.  Are candidates required to send the hard copy of the application form or uploaded documents by post to the organizing body?

Ans. No. Participants will only have to upload the required documents and certificates online and will not have to send it by post or courier to the authority.

Ques.  If the print out of the registration slip could not be taken. Can it be taken out at a later date?

Ans. Yes. The registration slip will be available on the official website and can be printed out at a later date.

Ques.  Can applications for multiple posts be submitted?

Ans. Yes. Candidates can submit applications for more than 1 post as per their qualifications. Additional application fees will have to be paid for each position applied. They must be present for the exam for different posts which may be held on separate days.

Ques. I am a student belonging to the OBC category. However, I selected the general category by mistake while applying for DMRC Recruitment Test 2020. I wish to change my category. Can it be done?

Ans. No. The details in the application forms once submitted cannot be edited or modified. Hence, aspirants are advised to fill up the application form correctly and verify the details before submitting it.

Ques.  Final result/ Mark sheet of the qualifying examination is not available due to delay in publication of result. Is such a candidate eligible for DMRC Recruitment Test 2020?

Ans. Yes. Candidates awaiting the result of the qualifying degree are eligible for the exam provided they can show the required mark sheets at reporting center during admission.

Hi Siddharth, yes, you can make corrections in the form using form-correction window. However, till now, DMRC has not announced the date yet for form-correction.

Hi Renu, on deduction of the fee, you must have received a text and a mail on your registered phone number and mail id respectively. Thus, receipt of payment is not necessary.
