Delhi Police Recruitment Board, also known as DPRB, is responsible for organizing everything for Delhi Police, including the recruitment. It recruits candidates for posts like Sun-Inspector, Assistant Sub-Inspector, and Constables. The average pay scale of these vacancies is between INR 25,000 and INR 81,000. There are three exams conducted to select the candidates- Written Exam, Physical Endurance Test and Medical Test. The recruitment exams for the 2020 vacancy is in December 2020. The board will soon release the notification for 2021 vacancies and exams. The details about the applying process, syllabus and all the other important information are on the official website. DP Eligibility
Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for the exam, the aspirants must make sure that they are eligible in all the criteria. The selection for this exam is based not only on educational and knowledgeable factors but also on physical factors. Thus, aspiring people have to work on both their minds and bodies.
Age
The minimum age limit for all the candidates is 18 years. However, the upper age limit varies according to the category based on state laws.

Educational Qualification
All the candidates must have at least passed higher secondary, or an equivalent from a government recognized board or institution. However, there is an exception for certain candidates. They are:
- Bandsmen, buglers, mounted constables, drivers, dispatch riders, and other personnel of Delhi Police only that have passed class 11 are eligible.
- Sons and daughters of serving, deceased, or retired police personnel of Delhi Police, including the multi-tasking staff, are also eligible if they have cleared their class 11.

Other requirements:
- All the candidates must possess a valid driving license (motorcycle or car) for LMV for the posts of Male Constables (Exe.) under Delhi Police.
- Any candidate applying for the relaxation through the reservation must have the supporting and adequate certificate proving the claimed criteria during the Physical Measurement Test.

The written exam is the first qualifier. Candidates passing the written exam get to the Physical Endurance Test. The students clearing the Physical Endurance Test get eligible for physical and medical tests.
