Bihar STET Age Limit 2026

The minimum age for being eligible to apply for Bihar STET 2026 is 21 years. The maximum age limit for candidates is based on different categories. The details are mentioned in the table below:

Age Relaxation Rules:

  • Persons with Disabilities (PwD): Eligible for up to 10 years’ relaxation, but not exceeding 40 years as per the latest government resolution.
  • Ex-Servicemen: Allowed an extension of 3 years beyond the prescribed limit. The time served in defense services is also considered, but the total age must not be above 57 years.
  • Trained Candidates: As per 2024 rules, trained applicants from all categories are entitled to relaxation up to 40 years.

  • Minimum 50% marks in Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized institution/university in Dance education.
Teachers in state, middle and high schools for students with special needs under inclusive education such as:
  • Orthopedic impairment,
  • Total blindness,
  • Deafness,
  • Low vision,
  • Speech and Language Disability
  • Intellectual disability,
  • Autism spectrum disorder,
  • Specific learning disability
  • Multiple disabilities
  • A Bachelor's degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 50 percent marks and
