AP Police Constable 2026 PET

AP Police Constable candidates who qualify in PMT have to appear for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). For SCT Police Constable (Civil), Firemen, Warders (Men), and Warders (Women), candidates must qualify in the 1600-meter run and one of the remaining two events: 100-meter run or long jump.

For SCT Police Constable (AR), candidates must qualify in all three events: 1600 metres run, 100 metres run and long jump. These events carry a maximum of 100 marks.

The PET events are conducted using electronic devices/equipment. Spike shoes are not permitted. Once an event has been conducted, no second chance, re-test or re-conduct is permitted.
