The WBSSC recruitment examination includes 3 stages. The candidates need to qualify for the Prelims, Mains and Interview process to get recruited.
All the candidates who wish to write the WBSSC exam should take the screening test for Prelims. In the Prelims test, questions are asked in the objective type or multiple choice form, and students are tested based on their knowledge of Arithmetic, Reasoning, General Awareness, and English subjects.
The candidates who satisfy the minimum cut-off range in Prelims are eligible for Mains Round. In the Mains test, the candidates are tested based on their subject knowledge of Indian History, Economics, Culture, Polity, and International Affairs, etc
