The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission(UPSSSC) is the state organization authorized to conduct various examinations for appointment to various posts. Every Year Uttar Pradesh Service Service Selection Commission(UPSSSC) rolls out new vacancies for various posts such as Junior Engineer, Junior Assistant, etc.

UPSSSC Eligibility

Eligibility criteria for UPSSSC

Candidates who are interested in UPSSSC must check their eligibility before applying for the exam by visiting the official UPSSSC website.

Eligibility criteria for UPSSSC Junior Engineer Exam

Age limit: Candidates must be minimum of 18years to 40 years old.

Educational Qualification:

Jr. Engineer Mechanical

Three Year Polytechnic Engineering Diploma or equivalent courses in Mechanical Engineering will be eligible for the Junior Engineer Posts.

Jr. Engineer Civil

Three Year Polytechnic Engineering Diploma or equivalent courses on Civil Engineering will be eligible for the Junior Engineer Posts.

Note* - Please note that Candidates holding Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or higher will not be eligible for UPSSSC Junior Engineer Posts.

Eligibility criteria for UPSSSC Lower PCS

Age: Must be between the age of 18-40

Educational Qualifications: Candidates Must have completed graduation from any recognized university.

Eligibility criteria for Junior Assistant

  • Age: Minimum age of the candidate must be 18 years for applying for the UPSSSC Junior exam.

Candidates till the age of 40 are eligible to apply for the post of Junior Assistant.

  • Educational Qualifications: Candidates must have passed class 12th or equivalent to be eligible.

Candidates must be able to type 25 words per minute in Hindi and 30 words per minute in English.

Candidates who cleared DOEACC exams are also eligible to apply for UPSSSC recruitment 2021.

How to apply for UPSSSC

  1. Visit the official website of UPSSSC,
  2. Click on the latest notification/advertisement regarding the UPSSSC exam.
  3. Register using mobile number and email id. Please note once registered you cannot change your mobile number and email id. Hence always check before registering.
  4. Login using valid credentials.
  5. Fill the application form with valid details.
  6. Upload the necessary documents.
  7. Upload scanned photograph and signature.
  8. Pay application fees.

Tips for cracking the UPSSSC exams

  • Prepare the General Knowledge Section thoroughly. Read all the relevant information on General Knowledge topics such as science, politics, geography etc.
  • Time Management is crucial in any competitive exam. The time allotted for the exam is very little with respect to the number of questions. Hence, practice time management and make sure your calculations are fast and correct.
  • Continuously revise after every study. Revision helps you remember important points. If you don't revise, you will ultimately start forgetting everything you have studied, and you won't be able to remember it during the exam.
  • Make a study time table and follow it strictly. Choose a quiet place for studying to avoid any disturbances.
  • Keep yourself healthy. Eat healthy food and get ample sleep. A healthy body equals a healthy mind.

Ques. Can I appear in the UPSSSC Junior Assistant exam without graduation?

Ans. You can apply for the UPSSSC Junior Assistant Exam if you have completed the 12th.

Ques. Can I edit the form after submitting it?

Ans. You can edit the form anytime before final submission and one week after final submission. However, you cannot edit the registered mobile number, email id, Aadhar number, and category once submitted.

Hence you must provide the correct mobile number and other details during registrations.

Ques. What precautions should I take while applying for UPSSSC?

Ans. Candidates must check whether they have all the required documents with them before submitting the form. Every detail provided by the candidate must be true to their knowledge.

If any candidate is found guilty of submitting false information, the Authority will detain the candidate from applying for the examination for three or more years.

Ques. What should be the size of the Photograph and signature?

Ans. The size of the passport photograph must be 3.5 cm wide and 4.5 cm tall.

Ans. Unfortunately, You won't be able to get reservation benefits if you are not a citizen of Uttar Pradesh.

Hi Fauzia, You can file an RTI addresed to respective department of UPSSSC from where you seek an information. It can be hand written or typed  in English, Hindi or local language of your area. State your request correctly and finally attach RTI fee applicable as IPO/DD/MO. 
Wait for the response for at least 30 days further which you can file an appeal. To know details of recruitment visit UPSSSC 2021.
