TSPSC Group I 2021 Selection Process
Telangana State Public Service Commission recruits candidates for gazette posts. The main criteria for the selection of candidates for various posts include skills, knowledge, conceptual understanding and abilities. Group 1 exam is of 3 phases. In the first phase, candidates are tested on their aptitude skills and the current happenings in the society. Only when the candidates qualify prelims, they are eligible to write the Mains exam. Mains stage is the most important round to clear this exam.
The candidates must be well versed in the complete syllabus of the six papers that are mentioned. In the last round, candidates are tested for their personality along with the knowledge and content that they possess. Selection of the candidates depends on the marks scored in the Mains and Interview round. Prelims round is only a qualifying round.
The answer key for the first two rounds i.e. prelims and mains will be published on the official website of TSPSC. The candidates should look out for the answer key notifications after a month or 2 months after the examination date. The candidates can also raise any objections to the answers provided in the answer key by the authorities within a given grace period.
The cut off marks for TSPSC Group I exam doesn’t remain the same every year. It keeps on changing from year to year. The calculation of cut off marks is not available to the public. The procedure is known only to TSPSC exam authorities. However, cut off marks usually depend on factors like number of vacancies, number of students and difficulty of the paper.
