Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board holds a state-level exam to employ qualified applicants for teaching positions in government schools at the primary and secondary levels. SUPER TET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

  • The minimum education required for Assistant Teacher posts is graduation
  • The qualification required for the post of Principal is graduation with 5 years of experience.

SUPER TET Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualification

  • Secondary school and a 2-year elementary education diploma (by whatever name known).
  • Bachelor’s degree in education and graduation (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks (B.Ed).
  • D.El.Ed/BTC from UP Government Institution.
  • Graduation with at least a 50% grade point average and 1-year B.Ed (Special Education)
  • 4 Year BA/B.Sc. Ed or BA.Ed/B.Sc. Ed.
  • Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.Ed.).
  • 4-year program (B.El.Ed) and 2nd Paper (Class 6-8) TET qualified with 5 years of teaching experience from junior high school and high basic school as recognized by the Department of Basic Education.

SUPER TET Exam Pattern 2026

Super TET is an objective type offline exam that consists of 150 questions for the Assistant Teacher exam and the exam for the post of principal contains 200 questions.

SUPER TET Exam Pattern for Assistant Teacher:

  • Super TET exam is an Objective Type exam.
  • The exam has two sections in which the first section is compulsory for all and the second section is the Main Subject.

  • Candidates must take the exam, which carries 200 marks, with Paper 1 carrying 150 points and Paper 2 carrying 50 points.

SUPER TET Syllabus 2026

Super TET is separated into 2 papers, The first is Super TET Primary Syllabus for becoming a primary teacher who teaches the students of Classes 1st to 5th and the second is Super TET Junior Syllabus for becoming an elementary teacher who teaches the students of Class 6th to 8th.

  • Super TET Paper 1 and Super TET Paper 2 Both papers will be conducted on the same day but in different shifts.
