SSB Constable Exam Pattern 2026 is prescribed by the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) to ensure a fair and systematic selection of candidates. The exam pattern is designed to assess candidates on knowledge, physical fitness, and medical standards. The recruitment process is structured into multiple stages, beginning with a written examination to test general awareness and aptitude. Candidates who qualify then appear for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST). SSB Constable Exam Pattern 2026

SSB Constable Physical Efficiency Test (PET) 2026
All applicants will be required to take a Physical Efficiency Test, which will be qualifying in nature, and the applicant must qualify for the following events:

The Physical Efficiency Test is not needed for ex-servicemen.
SSC Constable Physical Standard Test (PST) 2026
Candidates must pass part I before proceeding to the rest of the review. All eligible applicants will be required to take a Physical Standard Test, which will be qualifying in nature, and the applicant must qualify for the following events:

SSB Constable 2026 Written Test
- The written examination will be of the multiple-choice objective kind.
- There will be a 100-question paper with a limit of 100 points.
- The test will last for two hours (120 minutes).

SSB Constable 2026 Trade Test
Candidates will be required to take a 50-point trade test, with a minimum qualifying score of 60% for all candidates, regardless of rank. This will be factored into the final merit list as well.
