The application portal will remain open for candidates from December 2, 2025, to January 10, 2026. Candidates can apply online for 1146 Specialist Officer (SO) vacancies by registering with basic details such as personal, educational, experience and communication information and uploading the required scanned documents in the specified format. The application fee must be paid online by January 10, 2026.

SBI SO 2026 application process, including registration, document upload, and fee payment, is conducted online through the official website of State Bank of India. Candidates can follow the steps below to apply for SBI SO 2026:

Step 1: Visit the official SBI career website at recruitment.sbi.bank.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link that says "Apply Online for SBI SO Recruitment 2026."

Step 3: Select the New Registration option and enter basic details such as name, date of birth, valid email ID, and mobile number. After successful registration, a unique registration number and password will be generated.

Step 4: Log in using the registration number and password to access the SBI SO 2026 application form.

Step 5: Fill in all required details, including personal, educational, professional, and category information, carefully.

Step 6: Upload scanned copies of your recent passport-size photograph, signature, and other supporting documents in the prescribed size and format.

Step 7: Pay the application fee online through debit/credit card, UPI, or net banking.
